Just had some interaction with one of their security guards at the Cape Gate Life Style Precinct and I must say, I can not believe they put people like that in places where they have to deal with public but have zero people of communication skills. I found this guard rude and disrespectful.
Family just got held up by gun point by a security guardfrom SJC in Brackenfell who jumped a red and nearly hit us. Aggressively threatened us when we said we will call the company to put a complaint and threatened to "fight us". Unacceptable behaviour from a security guard who is supposed to help hold the law.
Shout out to JJ and staff responding to a walkin theft apprehended. Quick, professional and dedicated service to the community when needed. Thank you for helping us.
Best security company ever. People with integrity, and are always respectful. I was at my son's school where a lady had some sort of epileptic episode and a young man from SJC was on the scene immediately, and he helped her and supported her till the ambulance came. I have spoken with a young man, Marco, who is part of the sales and marketing, and he was so professional. He saw my boards on my wall was old and worn-off and he replaced the old ones with new ones. I was very impressed with his friendly and caring attitude. Thanks SJC for your brilliant all round services.
Edit; SJC management has since my review assisted in fixing the damages. It was a frustrating process that took around 3 months, but my vehicle has been fixed and they took full responsibility.
I would not recommend SJC - one of their guards accidentally closed a gate onto my vehicle, which I understand, accidents happen. However, they have been evading any contact from myself, my husband and our insurance broker to discuss the damages. I have a case number from police and have a direct contact to the representative that manages our specific security contract; they blatantly ignore us.
This does not seem like an upstanding, ethical business at all.
The service from the CEO Charl Du Toit was the best.His compassion and assistance to me was excellent and great proffessional and wish that all his workers or employees can follows his example. With his positive attitude towards me as a person and employee was really a joy and the best of my two years at SJC.
Their security at Grandeur Estate sucks.
Caught them sleeping on the job last month.
Today when I went to the estate to visit my gf, the guard was shouting from inside the guardhouse..
When I asked him to come closer as I couldn't hear, he said "I can't, it's raining" all while he was wearing a waterproof jacket.
What a joke.
Great service. Phoned SJC because my shop manager struggles to close the door, the patroller was there within a minute to assist. Thanks guys, always there when we need you.
